There are online groups for any subject you can think of. Sometimes when you start something new you think there aren’t many others that do the same thing. Then you stumble across one person that is connected to a bunch of others that do the same thing. Your excitement rises and your enthusiasm to continue skyrockets.
You can learn from each other and help each other. I really enjoy finding others that vlog or teach about video! Here’s a list of some that I read – or, more accurately, watch.
People that do awesome videos I dream about doing someday:
- Cali Lewis and GeekbriefTV
- commandN in Canada
- Web Video Podcasts with Dave Kaminsky
- The Way We Watch
- Happy Slip Productions
Blogs that write about video:
- The Viddler Blog
- Reel SEO
- Web Video Blog with Dave Kaminsky
And my favorite – Moms That Vlog:
- Lots of them can be found on MomTV
- Wendy with BabiesGottaHaveIt
- Carrie at BarefootExecutive.TV is a mom, but vlogs about business – still good!
- Real Life Sarah is real – for sure – and funny too.
- Sugar Jones has been vlogging for a long time – in vlogging years.
- 5 Minutes for Mom has great interviews and a whole site devoted to video at Say it Face to Face.
I just went through my list quick and I’m sure there are many more great vloggers out there. Who are your favorite people to watch? I’d love to add more to my list!
