Vlog Link Up: Videos With Water

Below is the link-up for your videos with water. I embedded a video I made early in my vlogging days - Dec 2008. Watching it I see lots of things I’d like to fix. For example…

1. I didn’t talk confidently to the camera. If I was telling that same thing to a friend I would have talked differently. I think that I gained confidence as I did more videos.
2. I looked at the screen and watched myself instead of looking right into the lens. Small difference, but it bugs me today.
3. I didn’t have an outline or script. I kind of did it off the top of my head and didn’t run through it before filming.

Some good things I did that I had already learned.:

1. Kept it under 3 minutes [although now I'd make it even shorter].
2. Used the same type of transition throughout.
3. Took the tripod and used it.
4. Included my url at the end.

Next week’s challenge: Try a new video host. There’s lots of them! It would be good to pick one that connects with tubemogul.com so you have another place ready to distribute your videos.
