Below is the link-up for your videos at a new to you video host. The video embedded above is from my Flickr account. [Add me as a contact!] It was very easy to upload and get the code. It’s a very nice player and easy to adjust size. The biggest downside with Flickr is that the videos can’t be any longer than 90 seconds and you can only upload 2 per month! That will never work for me!
The new host I registered at is Dailymotion. It’s very easy to use, but I don’t like the other videos displayed when my video is done. I’m JendisJournal there if you want to friend me. Can you believe that even with a name like Jendi somebody already used it?! A plus for Dailymotion is that they immediately used my account name in the url – http://www.dailymotion.com/JendisJournal.
I even put the video on Facebook. Also easier than I expected. How many of you have added video to your FB account? There is an embed code from them also. There are tons of places to upload videos!!!
Here are the names of some sites that will host video: YouTube, Blip.tv, Viddler, Revver, MomTV, Veoh, Dailymotion, Photobucket, My Space, Yahoo, Metacafe, Videojug, Zoopy, Flickr, and Facebook. That doesn’t even include any of the specialized sites. Here’s a list of 20 sites with links.
