Readers/watchers often ask what I use: I carry a Sony Bloggie in my purse and use a Canon Rebel T2i [aff link] for my green screen videos. I also use a Kodak zi8 [which is not made anymore] for vlogging from home, and would love to upgrade to a Kodak PlayTouch.
Just remember - a great camera will not make you a great vlogger – good content and practice will.

Jendi – I’ve been using the Kodak Zi8 for a while and love it because of the mic input. I’ve even used it to green screen and use my pro lav mic with it. I think the PlayTouch is basically the same cam with some basic enhancements like the touch screen, but I’m planning to buy it soon, and do a review. I’ve used the zi8 for green screen too! – with a microphone. It is a great little camera. I’ll keep an eye out for your review of the PlayTouch.
