Here’s my Simple Vlogging Podcast episode 34. If you are brand new to vlogging and still learning editing – don’t sweat it!
However, if you’re a more experience vlogger and somewhat comfortable with editing, a bit of thinking before recording will help you make a nicer video. Think about angles, distance, etc.
I ask this question in the video and would love to hear your answer, “How long will you watch a static shot of somebody talking?” Do you open another tab and just listen?

I have the bad habit of burying the video pretty quick if the person is just talking. I can check emails and listen to the audio. I might watch a minute if they are animated.

Depends on what they are talking about. if I ‘m bored quickly I switch if I have no idea what they are talking about I switch to something else. If I’m interested in learning and they have the knowledge …then I’ll watch longer. 2 1/2- 3 min. max
