My husband and I have purchased the majority of our cameras and other electronic equipment through B&H Photo, Video, and ProAudio.

  • We bought new and used equipment with good success.
  • They accept returns without any hassle. We’ve returned a couple things without a problem.
  • There’s a good number of reviews from real people.
  • They have good prices even with shipping included.

Have Xtranormal Fun

Have you seen the monotone videos popping up everywhere from Geico commercials to average blog posts? They are made through the site Xtranormal. I’ll admit that it’s more fun than I expected.

The system is based on points and they very kindly give you 300 points when you first register. That is plenty to make your first cartoon for free. You will need to purchase more points to continue BUT once you purchase something, like a set or a person, it is saved in your account and you can use it again. There will still be a publishing fee, but I think it’s very reasonable and a good system.

My main warning for this site is that it is very time consuming! You can easily spend a lot of time correcting and changing and tweaking and “I’ll just fix one more thing.” So give yourself a time limit.
