Online Video Songs

online musicAlmost every blogger has a dream of creating a successful viral video, and honestly, what better way to do it than with an online video song! You can create songs about anything to do with your business, your personal life, your blog and more. With the success of shows like Glee, making a song out of normal life is hot. Royalty Free Music For Videos

Sometimes you’re lucky enough to find a music loop that fits you and your vlogs just fine and you use it for a long time. Then a couple things happen – you get tired of it, you grow past it, or you need music for a different type of video. My point is that vloggers are always looking for more royalty free music to use – and if we can get it for free that’s even better!

The kind people at JewelBeat Royalty Free Music asked me to let you know about their free music. This is the statement on their website:

You only need to link to our website from yours: ”Music by JewelBeat. Download your free music and free sound effects at www.jewelbeat.com.”

They offer sound effects and music loops that range from seriously dramatic to wild parties from heartbreaking to bright fun. The titles are intriguing in themselves and I got caught up clicking the links just to hear why they named the music that particular name – like Mexican Spy. A lot of the music has an eastern sound, but there’s some country in there too.

If you’re looking for music it’s worth checking it out.

Disclosure: JewelBeat sent me a DVD and cd to review their music for this post. Words/opinions are fully my own.

Podcast 2: Bumper Music

Melitsa from play-activities.com asked “Can you talk about using music in vlogs?” I’m seeing more vlogs that use a theme tune or little tune between the opening credits and the start of the vlog. What are your thoughts about doing that? And how do you do it? Thanks!

It is not legal to use any copyrighted music without permission. Putting a credit at the end of your video does not make it legal. Playing the song yourself does not make it legal if the written music is copyrighted. You have to have permission, use your own creation, or use royalty free music. Here are some sites where you can download royalty free music for free.
