I’ve been hearing more and more people say that Web 3.0 is video.  It makes sense to me.  Partly because the next generation, i.e. my children, LOVE video and making videos.

Embedded above is a video my daughter did when she was four. [I admit that I edited it. ]  She imitated what she sees me doing – holding the camera and talking.  I see a lot that I would do different, but over all I think she did well for a 4 year old.  Be warned – it is shaky.

When should we let our children post videos online?  When their parents say it is okay.  When should you say it is okay?  When you are comfortable with it.

Remember that wherever you put it on the internet it can be found through search engines.  It might take a little longer to find it, but it will be out there. You can have lots of fun watching the videos on your own computer or disc. The best advice I can think of is – be totally sure before you put it online.
