That’s too funny that you were wearing coats to the beach and then swimming indoors!!
I bet you save a ton of money vacationing off season though! I really want to see the ocean and let my kids play at the beach – after hearing everyone mingles – I am thinking that I have to get busy planning this out!

LOL @ wearing winter coats to the beach. That’s probably the best time to go ~ not crowded. Summer salads are the best. Hope you have a great week.

I am so glad you had a nice 4th! Ours was pretty low-key this year, which is just fine with me : )
LOL on the swimming. I think I would do the same!
I like cool meals on the hot days too – I really hate turning on the oven, especially when the house has finally cooled down.

Oh, I need to browse your blog more – I could really use some vlogging tips!! That was a funny story about the beach. And, I’d love to go to BlogHer – I’m pretty far away though. We also make more plans in the Fall and Spring, summer is quite busy for work for us.

You could make a cucumber and tomato salad with all those cucumbers that you are growing! Chop cucumbers and tomatoes and then marinate in a dressing heavy on Balsamic and light on oil….so yummy!
