Mingle Is About Aging This Week

It’s hosted by eightymphmom.com and the questions are as follows:

  1. 1.What is the one thing you find most frustrating about getting older?
  2. 2. What is the one thing you like best about it?
  3. 3. What age did you look forward to most?

I didn’t do so good with these questions but really wanted to mingle so I’m joining in late.

  10. Jendi – I hope one of your tips somewhere is “Keep it short and sweet!” I actually got to the end of your blog and remembered everything because it was succinct – even with your plug for the blogroll. Which is why you are the master vlogger!

Hope you have a great week!

  11. Oh good point – the bills. Funny how they accumulate as we get older. I know what you mean about the energy too – I find that I have much less than I used to!

I am going to go through your vlogroll to see who else is there – I always love to meet new vloggers.

    Thanks for mingling!

  12. I’d love to be added to your vlog roll. I only make them about 2-3 times a month but I enjoy it.

The video is so nice outside with the birds talking in the background.

There are great things to be said about aging. One in particular is confidence about who I am. There’s no concern about trying to impress or outdo others. Age brings a settledness. At 30, you’re still defining yourself because of children. At 40, you’re looking for a new role to fulfill (which is why I went to college). I loved my 50′s and didn’t even give any thought to menopause.

Well, I just entered my 60′s last year. I still have a great life except I focus more on my health now (PlusSizeBloggers). It requires a bit more dedication to keep strong in all areas: spiritually, mentally, and physically. But, it also allows me to discover other passions that I was not able to pursue when I was raising a family.

I hope this is encouraging to all who wonder it’s really like to enter the senior years.

I too really hate the bills that come along with getting older. Wonder if I can get away with sending my bills to my parents.
