There’s a great written post on Social Times about 5 Ways The BBC Gets People Watching Their Videos. I definitely agree with their points. I’m also noticing more and more people saying that fancy intros, effects, transitions are not necessary for online videos because people are interested in content.
Blunty mentions that same thing in his Vlogging Tips on editing, effects, and transitions. He mentions that it is better to use that amount of time for content instead of a fancy intro. He has a whole series of vlogging tips. While I agree with most of what he says, [love the Macgyver tripod] he puzzles me by telling us to keep the videos short while his run 7 minutes long! Take your own advice Blunty anf make shorter videos!

Thanks to Stephanie for mentioning me on Media Post Blogs in her article Engage: Moms. Those of you who follow me don’t get confused about the bi-monthly show mention. That’s how I did it when I first started, but now I’m live every Friday at 2pm EST on MomTV.
