Don’t Let Perfectionism Stop You From Making a Video

These are the show notes for episode #8 of my Simple Vlogging Podcast.

This week let’s talk about perfectionism.

Does perfectionism keep you from making a video? Are you waiting for just the right time, just the right background, just the right thing to say? Stop waiting and just push record. Having a bad video recorded is worth 10 times more than a perfect video that’s never recorded.

Friday, Sept. 25, 2009 at 2 pm EST I will be live on MomTV.com During the show this week there is a giveaway donated by Creative Labs. If you come to the show you can qualify to win a Vado HD pocket camera worth $229. If you follow me on Twitter I will be tweeting about it.

If anyone has a question feel free to leave it in a comment or email jendi at simplevloggingtips.com.

Now go and make a video!

  1. Thank you for talking about this. I just did my first video and it was an almost painful experience. I think I spent about 3 hours to produce a 1 min video. It needed to be perfect… at the end I just couldn’t wing it in one take so the video was not “perfect” but I was happy with it. I need to remember your tips for next time!
